JavaScript is a programming language that’s essential to any modern Internet site. Without JavaScript enabled, some Hyper features may not perform as designed. To fix performance problems, make sure JavaScript is enabled.

WINDOWS

To enable JavaScript for Google Chrome:

  • Go to the Chrome menu and select Preferences.
  • Select the tab Under the Hood.
  • Under Privacy, click Content Settings.
  • Select the JavaScript tab and choose the option Allow all sites to run JavaScript.
  • Close the window.
  • Refresh your browser by right-clicking anywhere on the page and selecting Reload, or by using the Reload button in the toolbar.

To enable JavaScript for Mozilla Firefox:

  • Click the Tools drop-down menu and select Options.
  • Select the Content section from the options at the top of the
    pop-up page.
  • Check the boxes next to Block pop-up windows, Load images automatically, and Enable JavaScript.
  • Click OK.
  • Refresh your browser by right-clicking anywhere on the page and selecting Reload, or by using the Reload button in the toolbar.

To enable JavaScript for Internet Explorer:

  • Click the gear icon/Tools menu to the right of the Internet Explorer address bar.
  • Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  • Next, select the Security tab at the top of the dialog box.
  • Then, select the earth (Internet) icon.
  • Then select the Custom Level button under the Security level for this zone section.
  • Locate the Scripting section within the list.
  • Under Active Scripting, select Enable, then hit OK.
  • Answer yes to the following conformation box.
  • Hit OK to close the Internet Options window.
  • Finally, refresh your browser.

MAC

To enable JavaScript for Safari 3 or later on Mac OS X:

  • Choose Safari > Preferences.
  • Click Security.
  • Check the boxes next to Enable Plug-ins, Enable Java, and Enable JavaScript.
  • Make sure this checkbox is not selected: “Block pop-up windows.”
  • Refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+R or by using the Reload button located at the far right of the URL entry area.

To enable JavaScript for Google Chrome on Mac OS X:

  • Go to the Chrome menu and select Preferences.
  • Select the tab Under the Hood.
  • Under Privacy, click Content Settings.
  • Select the JavaScript tab and choose the option Allow all sites to run JavaScript.
  • Close the window.
  • Refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+R or by using the Reload button in the toolbar.

To enable JavaScript for Mozilla Firefox on Mac OS X:

  • Go to the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
  • Click on the Content tab.
  • Select Enable Java.
  • Close the window.
  • Refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+R or by using the Reload button in the toolbar.

IOS

To enable JavaScript for IOS:

  • Select the Settings application/icon on the iPhone home screen.
  • Select Safari on the following screen.
  • Select Advanced, located near the bottom of the following screen.
  • Move the JavaScript toggle to the right so that it highlights green.

ANDROID

To enable JavaScript for Android:

  • Select Browser or Internet to open the web browser.
  • Select Menu.
  • Select More then Settings.
  • Finally select Enable JavaScript.
